Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst based in United States.

This role serves as a strategic finance partner to one or more high-growth business areas, helping leaders make informed decisions through rigorous financial analysis.
You’ll own forecasting, financial modeling, performance reporting, and KPI analysis while turning complex data into practical business recommendations.
The position combines independent analytical work with close collaboration across Product, Marketing, Operations, and other functions.
You’ll help evaluate investments, business initiatives, pricing opportunities, resource allocation, and operational improvements.
Success requires both strong financial discipline and the business judgment to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
You’ll have meaningful influence on planning, performance, and sustainable growth in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys connecting numbers, strategy, and measurable business outcomes.

Accountabilities

  • Serve as the primary finance partner for assigned growth areas, supporting strategic planning, investment decisions, and ongoing business performance management.
  • Own revenue and operating expense forecasts, continuously improving forecasting accuracy and methodologies.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance sophisticated financial models for scenario planning, pricing analysis, investment decisions, and new business initiatives.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis, executive summaries, and actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor financial and operational KPIs to identify emerging risks, opportunities, performance trends, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of strategic initiatives and support data-driven decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, resource allocation, and financial performance through analytical insights and process improvements.
  • Translate complex financial concepts and findings into clear recommendations for non-financial stakeholders and senior business leaders.
  • Improve reporting processes, analytical tools, forecasting approaches, and financial planning workflows to strengthen decision support and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or another quantitative discipline.
  • 4–6 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or another highly analytical finance environment.
  • Advanced experience in financial modeling and forecasting, including the ability to build scalable models for planning and scenario analysis.
  • Proven experience owning budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable business insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through data-driven recommendations and effective cross-functional partnerships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present financial insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, along with experience using financial reporting or business intelligence systems.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and operate effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining a strategic view of broader business objectives.
  • Experience in high-growth technology or fintech environments is preferred.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Marketing, or Growth teams is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Looker, Tableau, or comparable analytics and visualization tools is desirable.
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, or similar FP&A platforms is advantageous.
  • Experience improving financial planning processes through automation or process optimization is a plus.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary of $92,000–$150,000 , depending on factors such as experience, skills, education, and location.
  • Equity opportunities.
  • Fully remote work environment for U.S.-based employees.
  • Industry-leading medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents.
  • Flexible vacation time off, 11 holidays, and a company holiday shutdown.
  • Paid parental leave for new parents, including birth, adoption, and foster placement.
  • Mental health support and employee well-being resources.
  • Paid sabbatical after five years of employment.
  • Health and dependent care FSAs and HSA options with company contributions.
  • Monthly wellness and cell phone stipends, plus a Wi-Fi stipend for eligible remote employees.
  • Work-from-home equipment stipend and coworking space subsidy for eligible remote employees.
  • Employee Resource Groups supporting parents, diversity and inclusion, women, LGBTQIA+ employees, and other communities.
  • Hackathons, team events, employee appreciation activities, and company-wide initiatives.
  • Quarterly volunteer time off and charitable donation matching.
  • 401(k) plan with a 4% company match.
  • Financial wellness resources, including access to a Certified Financial Planner.
  • Employer-paid disability and life insurance.
  • Opportunities to test and benefit from new financial products and tools.
