Starting Pay: $20-21/hr

We are seeking a dependable 1st Shift Order Picker to join a growing manufacturing operation in West Allis, WI. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with potential for long-term employment and advancement.

The Order Picker is responsible for accurately picking parts and materials needed for production, delivering them to the appropriate work areas, and helping maintain accurate inventory. This is a hands-on warehouse position that requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick parts and materials according to pick lists and deliver them to the appropriate production work cells
• Complete pick lists accurately and submit documentation for timely inventory transactions
• Deliver requested materials and supplies to internal departments and point-of-use locations
• Check inventory for damaged, outdated, or incorrect materials
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy
• Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment as needed
• Provide backup support to warehouse personnel
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse and work areas
• Assist with general warehouse duties, including trash and material disposal
• Follow established safety procedures and standard operating procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of warehouse, order picking, material handling, or related experience
• Forklift experience preferred; must be able to obtain forklift certification
• Ability to read and accurately follow pick lists
• Basic math skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Dependable and accountable for assigned responsibilities
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of a warehouse position, including lifting, carrying, bending, standing, and walking throughout the shift
